Hospitality Happens Online: Travel Connections in the Digital Age

How to use digital research to win bookings.

Join HSMAI Oregon and James Seidman to learn how the digital age is driving hospitality marketing. This presentation will cover:

  • The hotel market is growing, but digital research for hotels is growing much, much faster, providing new opportunities for marketers to win bookings.
  • Skyrocketing mobile device usage has led to the rise of consumer "micro-moments," which are prime opportunities throughout the day for marketers to reach, inspire, & motivate consumers to book.
  • Digital marketing & analytics generate huge amounts of data, a daunting management task at the outset. Marketers can harness & integrate data to make management easier, to free up time for high-value strategic work, & to drive superior ROI.
  • A brief look into core elements of Google's culture & philosophy, focusing on building an innovation culture, focusing on solving problems for consumers & partners, and building integrated open platforms.

The presentation will start promptly at 3:00PM and will last approximately 75 minutes. There will be a 15 minute Q&A session immediately following the presentation. The meeting will conclude with our networking happy hour and raffle.
